Set close to and with easy access of the South Downs, and adjoining Slindon Woods, Woodend Annexe is in a little world of its own. The peaceful and tranquil setting abounds in bird life (and squirrels!) and often deer are seen close by.
The original part of this high-quality conversion used to be a coach house and acted as a staging post for carriages bound for London. The extension was built to be sympathetic with the old style. The old London Road is in fact the driveway in front of Woodend Annexe and still shows an original old milestone.
